The Village of Port of Menteith is the primary settlement on the shores of the lake of Menteith.​​  The village sits on the A81 and continues along the B8034 and A873 continuing over several miles in each direction.

GETTING THERE

 

The main village is served by the X10A bus service, running from Stirling through the village towards Aberfoyle and Glasgow every 2 hours, and in the opposite direction totalling 6 services each way a day.

In addition the new C61 service started in March of 2026 connects Port of Menteith, with Aberfoyle, Callander and Thornhill.

Stirling train station is approximately 25 minutes drive or 35 minutes on the bus.
