The Village of Port of Menteith is the primary settlement on the shores of the lake of Menteith.​​

 

The main village is served by the X10A bus service, running from Stirling through the village towards Aberfoyle and Glasgow every 2 hours, and in the opposite direction totalling 6 services each way a day.
